George Close

This historic former warehouse building was purchased from the Cambridge Redevelopment Authority in 1970 and converted into affordable apartments. The building includes two management offices, a large community room, and laundry room.

Bishop Allen

The Bishop Allen apartments are conveniently located steps away from Central Square. Recent renovations completely restored these buildings and recreated historic features that had been lost over the years.

Elm Place

Located in Inman Square, Elm Place includes a historic renovation as well as newly constructed townhome-style apartments.

Scouting Way

Scouting Way Apartments consists of three buildings and is located a short walk from Central Square. Two newly-constructed buildings and one historic renovation include townhouse-style apartments with in-building laundry and opportunities for parking.

Squirrel Brand

A former candy factory, the Squirrel Brand building now offers modern and affordable housing to residents between Central and Kendall Squares. The building includes an elevator, in-building laundry, and sustainable design amenities including solar thermal hot water. It is also adjacent to a park and a community garden.

Linwood Court

The apartments at Linwood Court are part of the Squirrelwood Apartments community, alongside the Squirrel Brand building. Close to both Central Square and Kendall Square, Linwood Court’s amenities include one elevatored building, two new construction buildings, laundry available either in unit or in the building, and a community garden.

Rindge Tower Apartments

Located across the street from the Alewife MBTA station, the Rindge Tower Apartments are home to a diverse, vibrant community of individuals and families. As Just A Start’s largest residential community, the building includes an onsite Community Coordinator, a fitness area, a community room, and a playground.
